On June 2 and 3, 2021 the partners of the POP CoE (Second Phase) organized yet another (virtual) face-to-face project meeting.
Like many other groups, we are getting more efficient organizing virtual meetings: this time it took us only two extended morning sessions instead of two full days like last time; or was it just a sign of "zoom fatique"?
The main topic of the meeting was to assess the overall status of the POP project after 30 months and preparing a project amendment to extend the project another six months until May 2022. The project is doing very well overall: all internal project KPIs are on track; in some areas we are actually performing much better than planned:
- By the end of the projects, we were supposed to have organized 4 training events and 8 webinars, however we have already performed 22(!) trainings and 15 webinars!
- As we are a very service-oriented Centre of Excellence (and not a Research and Innovation project), we are very proud that the POP project work resulted already in 18 peer-reviewed, open-access scientific publications.
