In collaboration with RTU HPC Centre / NCC Latvia, POP CoE organised three half-day online introductory training sessions on parallel HPC application performance analysis, POP methodology and selected profiling and tracing tools.
28 people joined the sessions, mostly students and research staff from Latvian universities and research institutes, as well as others from around the world. Since only a few participants reported having HPC experience and their own parallel applications, demonstrations of tools were provided instead of the usual hands-on activities. Opportunities to attend forthcoming VI-HPS Tuning Workshops for in person training and coaching were noted.
