POP @ HiPEAC18

POP were proud to present a poster at the HiPEAC18 conference in Manchester, UK, outlining a few of the many POP success stories. We're very pleased at what we've achieved since the project started in 2016, and so we like to tell people all about it. For example, at the time of writing the poster, 157 software analyses had been undertaken, and for 19 of these our recommended improvements had been implemented and tested. In one case we achieved a 10-fold increase in scalability, and for several other codes demonstrated 3-6 times speedup. We're also very satisfied with our customer feedback, for example 100% of customers considered the quality of the service to be 'Excellent' or 'Good'.

The HiPEAC conference is to be highly recommended. The scope of the conference was vast, as can quickly be seen by looking through the variety of topics on the conference website. Of particular interest to POP were talks on optimizing parallelization, work on pattern-based parallel programming, and parallel programming models.
