POP @ 68th HPC User Forum

POP was invited to present the latest project results at the 68thHPC User Forum meeting on March 6 and 7, 2018. About 150 HPC experts and users met at the TERATEC and Très Grand Centre de Calcul du CEA (TGCC CEA) campus at Bruyères-le-Châtel in France. Attendees learned about the latest developments in the HPC world-wide user community from presentations from the European Commission (EuroHPC), the U.S. DOE Exascale Computing Project (ECP), Promotion of HPC Industrial Use in Japan, ARM, Atos and Intel company HPC plans, and various talks on HPC usage in industry.

Bernd Mohr from POP partner Jülich Supercomputing Centre presented his talk "The POP Centre of Excellence -- On the Difficulty of "Selling" Free Performance Analysis Services".

In addition, in his talk "HPC in Agriculture", Denis Wouters from POP customer Cybeletech, reported about the positive experience and support they got from the POP project.
