Instructors from the POP partners JSC, RWTH Aachen and UVSQ supported the 44th VI-HPS Tuning Workshop, which took place at both RWTH Aachen and ZIH TU Dresden, Germany, from February 26th to March 1st, and was also available online. This was the first VI-HPS Tuning workshop to be conducted in a hybrid format and on two different sites.

During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to test the tools on the new Claix-2023 and Barnard systems, both using Intel Sapphire Rapids CPUs, with one day of the workshop being also dedicated to porting the participants' codes on these new platforms. The event was attended by around 20 participants, most of which joined online, and the feedback on the tools has been positive.
