The High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering (HPCSE) conference is an established international event organised by the IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Centre at the VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. The event brings together leading experts in high-performance computing, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, high-performance data analytics, artificial intelligence, quantum computing and advanced visualisation, providing a platform for them to share results, exchange ideas and launch new collaborations. The conference was held May 18-21, 2026 in the Beskydy Mountains in the Czech Republic like in past years.

POP experts Radim Vavřík, Ondřej Vysocký and Lubomír Říha were present at the conference promoting the POP CoE. Radim Vavřík gave a short presentation to attract new POP3 users, and introduced the Centre of Excellence in the poster session.
