The second joint EoCoE/PoP workshop on benchmarking and performance analysis took place at Maison de la Simulation (Saclay - France) from
30th May to 2nd June 2016.  12 developers of the Nowcasting system (INRIA), MDFT (MdlS), CP2K (ENEA), Télémac-Mascaret (EDF), EIRENE
(FZJ/IPP) and ComPASS (BRGM) energy-oriented application codes participated. POP experts from BSC and JSC supported the developers with their performance analysis tasks.

The codes were integrated within the JUBE workflow environment and their execution performance analysed with tools from POP to establish a performance baseline and make a preliminary identification of bottlenecks.
